NinjaOne Platform Troubleshooting: New User Cannot Create an Account From Invitation

Issue

A NinjaOne user cannot log in to their account after clicking Accept Invitation in the NinjaOne email.

Cause

The cause of this issue is likely due to improper credentials.

Resolution

Ensure your end users and technicians meet the minimum requirements when creating their credentials: 

When the user accepts the invitation, they will be prompted to create a password and enable at least one MFA method. Their password must be at least eight characters long and must meet three of the following criteria:

  • A minimum of one lowercase letter.
  • A minimum of one uppercase letter.
  • A minimum of one special character.
  • A minimum of one number (1–9).
