NMS Manager Service Not Installed or Running

Issue

The NinjaOne NMS Manager Service is not installed or running on a machine. 

Environment

• NinjaOne Network Management System (NMS)

Cause

This may occur if the initial installation steps are not completed properly.

Resolution

Follow these steps to install the NinjaOne NMS Manager service:

1. Install NinjaOne NMS on a device.
2. Install NinjaRMM on that device.
3. Restart the NinjaRMMAgent service.
