Issue
The "Authenticated SMTP" has not been enabled for the account you are using to send emails.

Cause
The configured settings in Microsoft 365 cause this issue.
Resolution
If the "Authenticated SMTP" has not been enabled for the account you are using to send emails, you can correct this through the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Select the user and open the Mail tab.
- Under Email apps, click Manage email apps.

- Activate the checkbox for "Authenticated SMTP."
If you need to disable the SMTP AUTH protocol for your organization, you can do so through Settings → Mail flow settings.
