Bitdefender GravityZone Troubleshooting: Error “Another AV detected”

Issue

The installation is not completing due to the existing security software installed. 

Environment

  • NinjaOne integrated vendors
  • Bitdefender GravityZone

Cause

The installation was prevented because the NinjaRMM agent detected another antivirus on the target device. This information is gathered from the Windows operating system security center and is expected and correct behavior depending on policy settings. 

Resolution

Change the antivirus settings at the policy level for the affected devices. Select the option to "Proceed with installation anyway."
