Getting Started
- Configure the app: This is the first action you must take to start using the Documentation tool.
Using the Tools
- Apps & Services: This guide relates to the Documentation > Apps & Services tab on the organization dashboard.

- Knowledge Base: This guide relates to the Documentation > Knowledge Base tab on the organization dashboard.
- Checklists: This guide relates to the Documentation > Checklists tab on the organization dashboard.
Supporting Features
- Create public or shared links to documents: Provides the ability to share documents publicly or privately by linking users outside of the NinjaOne console to specific content within NinjaOne.
- Migration tool allows the ability to download created templates, which then can be imported into other environments or documentation tools.
- WYSIWYG and HTML styling information: An allowlist of elements and supported inline styles that can be used for the elements. NinjaOne also provides CSS classes that technicians can utilize for NinjaOne styling.
- Assign devices as documentation delegates, which is necessary to update Documentation fields via CLI or scripts.
