Issue
After enabling the integration, Webroot is still not installing the antivirus on devices.
Environment
- NinjaOne Integrations
- Webroot or OpenText
Cause
There are two possible causes for this issue:
- Webroot is not enabled at the policy level for the device in question.
- The device has another antivirus (AV) installed, or remnants of a previous AV installation are still present on the device.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:
- Enable Webroot at the policy level for the device (or devices) in question. For instructions, refer to NinjaOne Integrations: Getting Started with Webroot in the section titled Deploy Webroot to Devices.
- Remove the other AV and restart the NinjaOne agent to trigger a fresh install attempt. (For a script that you can use to restart the NinjaOne agent, refer to: Custom Script: Restart NinjaRMMAgent.)
- Ensure that you are adhering to our NinjaOne Global Allowlist (Whitelist) Information documentation. If you are required to make changes, restart the NinjaOne agent to trigger a fresh install attempt.
- If you use a SonicWall firewall, try temporarily disabling it. Once you have done so, restart the NinjaOne agent to trigger a fresh install attempt.
