Is Webroot compatible with Windows 11 devices? 

Yes, Webroot is compatible with the 64-bit version of Windows 11. 

Where does NinjaOne get the information displayed in the Antivirus section of NinjaOne summary reports?

NinjaOne is integrated with Windows Security CenterClick here for a list of antivirus software supported by Microsoft Security Center. For more information, refer to Reporting: Why does my Antivirus report show no information?

Is there a way to set up monitoring and alerting for antivirus software installed on a device?

The software condition monitors whether antivirus software is installed. This condition only works for Windows devices.

Why can't I copy/paste from the clipboard when connected to a Hyper-V VM?

Check to ensure that enhanced session mode (Server 2012r2+/Windows 8.1 onwards) is enabled.

What operating systems are compatible with RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)?

You can connect to devices running Windows Professional, Windows Enterprise, or Windows Server using RDP.

Can I connect to a device via Cloud RDP from a device that is not running one of the above compatible operating systems?

To initiate RDP connections from a device running an OS that is incompatible with RDP (see above for the compatible Windows operating systems), you must download the Microsoft Remote Desktop application for macOS or Windows.

Note that when using the most recent version of macOS Catalina (10.15.x), RDP links cannot be opened from Safari or Chrome; however, they will work from Firefox. This issue is due to changes in the most recent version of macOS Catalina (10.15.x) and must be addressed by Apple and Microsoft.

Which versions of Windows does NinjaOne Backup support?

NinjaOne Backup supports Windows 8 and newer, as well as Windows Server 2012R2 and newer.

What operating systems is NinjaOne Remote compatible with?

NinjaOne Remote is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 (not SP/SP2; sas.dll available only from Windows 7/2008r2) and macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and newer. 

What are the OS requirements for the version of Bitdefender that is deployed with NinjaOne's integration?

Bitdefender is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 and above or Windows 7 and above.

Can I upload a script to run against both Mac and Windows devices?

We do not support scripts running against multiple platforms. However, a script can be uploaded separately for both macOS and Windows platforms.

What user do the Remote Tools run as?

Remote Tools run as System on Windows.

Can we remotely access and delete files on Windows workstation and/or laptop if needed?

Yes. Check the Device DashboardTools.

Can we remotely lock Windows devices if needed?

Yes. Change the end user's password. You can use the Reset Password script in the Template Library (AdministrationAutomationTemplate Library).
