Description

We recently announced that the agreement between NinjaOne and TeamViewer will expire at the end of the year. To ensure you and your technicians maintain continuous and stable remote access to your devices, we performed a behind-the-scenes update. Here's what changed:

  • If you used TeamViewer in the past, we took a snapshot of your most recent TeamViewer settings.
  • If NinjaOne Remote was already enabled for your account, we made no changes.
  • If NinjaOne Remote was not enabled, we enabled it and mirrored your TeamViewer configuration to your environment's NinjaOne Remote settings as closely as possible, including OS availability, technician permissions, and organizational-level settings.
We did not install any new software on your endpoints during this update. The NinjaOne Remote app will only install on a device when a technician initiates a remote session for the first time.

We recommend activating the auto streamer setting to automatically deploy and update NinjaOne Remote. To do so, in your NinjaOne instance, navigate to Administration → Apps → NinjaOne Remote → Advanced Settings > Default Streamer Settings > Automatically update streamer.
