Questions and Answers

If I remotely access a device that is using a camera, will I be able to see through the camera?

The technician can see whatever is displayed on the device screen, so if the camera is turned on then the technician theoretically should be able to see what the camera is recording.

Is it possible to turn on/off a device through NinjaOne?

Yes; you can use a native or custom script in the Automation Library or Wake on LAN

If the User Account Control (UAC) window opens during a NinjaRemote session, will the technician be able to see it?

Yes; technicians can see all actions including configuration screens.

Is there a limit to simultaneous connections in NinjaOne Remote?

There is a max limit of three simultaneous connections on any given device, but all of the technicians can have Ninja Remote access.

How often does the information in the NinjaOne Remote Tools update?

The data in NinjaOne's Remote Tools updates automatically in real time.

How can I tell the current priority for a process under the Task Manager/Activity Monitor/System Monitor?

With the File Explorer/Finder/Files, can I download multiple files at once?

While you cannot initiate multiple files to begin downloading at once (for example, check off multiple files and then click Download), and as such the downloads need to be started one by one, you can have multiple files downloading at the same time.

With the File Explorer/Finder/Files, can I upload multiple files at once?

Yes — simply select the files you wish to upload. Once initiated, a progress bar will be visible until all file uploads are complete.
