Issue
Pre-flight checks for a protected endpoint's backup job fail with the error message, "NAS_TIMED_OUT 319."

Cause
This error indicates that the backup agent was able to connect with the Network Attached Storage (NAS) volume, but it did not respond to NinjaOne's authentication request before timing out.
Resolution
Verify the NAS's network connection and confirm that its configuration meets the requirements defined in our Global Allowlist (Whitelist) Information article.
