Backups for a protected endpoint complete with a warning that states, "Connection aborted by host machine."
Environment

Cause
Microsoft Windows terminated the connection because the protected endpoint went to sleep, rebooted without reconnecting to the network, or shut down long enough for the connection to time out.
Resolution
Ensure that your environment's networking configuration meets the requirements defined in our Global Allowlist (Whitelist) Information article. Troubleshoot the firewall and antivirus software configurations on the protected endpoint in case they are causing packet loss.
