Issue
The AV Status Report shows "Unknown" for macOS devices integrated with GravityZone or returns an internal status of "partial installation."
Environment
- NinjaOne integrated vendors
- Bitdefender GravityZone
Cause
This issue may be caused by internal installation problems. The agent may report the AV status as "Product State = OFF" and "Definition Status = Out-of-Date."
Resolution
The following are some options that may resolve the issue:
- Open AV UI on the target device and check for updates.
- Ensure all permissions given to the Disk Access are also given to the AV processes in the device's System Settings.
- Reboot the device.
