Issue
Pre-flight checks for a protected endpoint's backup job fail with the error message, "UNABLE_TO_ACCESS_LOCAL_STORAGE 305."

Cause
This generic error occurs when NinjaOne cannot access the local storage, but the cause is unknown.
Resolution
Ensure that the drive on the Network Attached Storage (NAS) device isn't failing and that the appropriate permissions exist to access all target folders. NinjaOne Backup requires both read and write privileges to the specified locations. The System account on the machine performing the backup must also have access privileges to the desired storage location.
