Am I able to view and take control of a mobile device when using Quick Connect?
At this time, NinjaOne supports full control for Android devices. However, Apple does not permit any third-party tool or vendor to have full control of iOS, and you must use screenshare.
In order to use Quick Connect with mobile devices, you must first download our NinjaOne Assist app (free) from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. With the app open on the login screen, tap Share my screen and enter the Quick Connect invitation code.
Will Quick Connect support headless system connections when "ask for confirmation" is disabled?
Yes, this should work. However, the headless system you are connecting to does need to have a Windows OS to use Quick Connect. Additionally, the end user must download and install Quick Connect, which means that the user must have access to the device.
When attempting to deploy the agent to a test device, we received a failed error, "Can't install MSI." How do we fix this?
Please contact NinjaOne Support.
How many characters are allowed in the Name and Description fields when creating an invitation?
100 characters maximum for Name and 200 characters maximum for Description.
Does Quick Connect allow for multiple technicians to be logged into the same device?
Yes. A maximum of three technicians are able to connect to the same device through Quick Connect.
Why are the deleted devices I used for testing not showing up in the NinjaOne console anymore?
Deleted devices from the Quick Connect list will no longer be able to install the same Quick Connect launcher using the same invitation code. You could only install the new launcher from the new invitation code.
