Issue
Backups for a protected endpoint fail with the error message, "Error 13: Missing or insufficient permissions. Access Denied."

Cause
The NinjaOne backup agent has insufficient permissions to back up the selected files or folders.
Resolution
NinjaOne Backup uses the NT AuthoritySystem account to perform backups. Ensure that the system account has access to the files or folders you'd like to back up.
