NinjaOne vs. Datto FAQs

NinjaOne excels in its user-friendliness. Compared to Datto, which may be complicated for some, NinjaOne can be used by almost anyone. NinjaOne is also a superior Datto alternative in terms of integration capabilities and reliability: NinjaOne remains fast whether you’re managing 50 or 50,000 endpoints.

Datto does offer third-party patching, but it is limited compared to NinjaOne. Some G2 users have said that Datto’s patch management does not automatically patch all business applications, with some software needing to be manually patched. Datto released its Workplace Mobile 4.1 in 2021 for iOS/iPadOS and Android. Currently, it does have an end-user portal.

As an entirely cloud-based solution, NinjaOne is incredibly quick to set up and implement. In addition, NinjaOne offers free and unlimited onboarding, training, and support, contributing to its market-leading CSAT (customer satisfaction score) of 97%.

While Datto is also cloud-based, some G2 users have said that the initial learning curve can overwhelm beginner IT technicians.
