Patch Notes: People Edition – Meet Morgan Stovall

by Team Ninja

Few organizations play a more critical role in American life than those in the state, local, and education (SLED) sectors. These institutions are the backbone of our communities – keeping essential services like police dispatch centers, fire departments, DMVs, and public radio running and accessible to everyone, anywhere. To do that, they rely on dependable technology and devices to help them stay connected and operational around the clock.

At NinjaOne, one of the driving forces behind our growing SLED business is Morgan Stovall, an Account Executive who has risen through the ranks to become a trusted partner to our customers and partners in this space. As more SLED leaders look for ways to streamline and secure their digital operations, they’re also discovering new opportunities to redirect valuable resources – such as time, budget, and personnel – back into the missions that matter most to their communities. It’s Ninjas like Morgan that help us support these essential efforts.

Let’s get to know Morgan

Hey Morgan! Tell us about yourself. What do you do at NinjaOne?

At NinjaOne, I work with customers across the U.S. state, local, and education sectors (i.e., SLED). Specifically, I’m an Account Executive working with organizations across the West Coast, helping them streamline and modernize their IT operations. I handle everything from closing deals to running demos, and ultimately, my job is to ensure that we meet the needs of our SLED customers.

You work closely with SLED customers, first as an SDR and now AE — what do you love most about working in this space?

The thing I love most is the impact. With SLED, the work you’re doing directly impacts teachers, government officials, and many everyday individuals. I love the idea of offering these organizations a platform like NinjaOne, a tool that actually helps make their lives easier, and helps mitigate risks so our police departments, fire departments, and those kinds of organizations can operate more efficiently and securely.

How has NinjaOne’s culture or leadership style supported your career development?

From a leadership perspective, I think I won the jackpot. I have a phenomenal manager and a really great team. My manager is someone who’s always accessible, so it’s easy for me to go to him with questions. Having him as a leader has helped me become more comfortable with where I’m at in my first year in a more senior sales role, which can be a tough transition. My teammates have also helped me a lot. For the first 6 months in my new role, I couldn’t stop asking questions. Then the tables turned, and now I get to help new people with questions that I asked before!

What’s been the most rewarding part of your NinjaOne journey so far?

My mom works in city government, so I’ve grown up surrounded by the SLED community. Finding a product that solves a significant number of their problems and being able to offer that solution to people who genuinely need it is incredibly fulfilling. Seeing the relief on customers’ faces when they see and experience what NinjaOne can do, and again, helping them make a more effective impact as a result, is probably the most rewarding part of my job.

What are you passionate about outside of your career?

I love spending time with my family (including my dog, Odysseus!). We are big foodies at my house, so we’ll try anything at least once. If there’s a new restaurant in town, you’ll probably catch us there. I also love coffee runs – I start my day with a 7 Brew every morning. I’ve also recently started to get into pottery. I’m not that great at it yet, but we’re working on it. I love a good challenge.
