The NinjaOne 15.0 release brings a fresh look and stronger control across the tools IT teams and MSPs use every day. The platform adds the dark theme customers have been asking for, built for the people who stare at NinjaOne all day. Ticketing also gets held to its service-level agreements (SLAs), with alerts that catch problems before they turn into missed deadlines. Check out the new features to see how NinjaOne tackles common roadblocks to improve outcomes.
Dark theme, made for how your team works
With Dark Mode, users can toggle the entire NinjaOne platform into a dark theme. No more watching a stark white dashboard for eight-plus hours a day. One of the most requested features, this is built for people who constantly interact with our unified IT solution.
Round-the-clock network and security operations teams avoid the eye strain of a bright dashboard next to dark monitoring tools. Enterprise IT admins running late maintenance windows get a UI that matches their already-dark toolchain. Remote and hybrid techs working odd hours cut the glare and fatigue that impact productivity.
Prioritized SLA response times, in-ticket approvals
Ticketing now tracks response and resolution targets within SLAs by priority, on both the board and the ticket. Alerts fire at 80 percent of allotted time and again at breach, so problems surface before missed deadlines. Approvals bring that same structure to sign-off, attaching an approval step to any ticket and routing it to a manager, device owner, role, or ad hoc list. Approvers without a NinjaOne login can clear it straight from the email, no sign-in required.
Default SLAs apply per organization, so response times automatically match whatever agreement is in place. The same approval logic covers any decision that needs sign-off — a manager approving a purchase, a device owner approving a change, or an ad hoc approver pulled in for a single ticket. Everything is logged right in the ticket. Filter the board by SLA status and time remaining to spot at-risk tickets fast.
Apple’s protocol for self-healing app deployment
NinjaOne now uses Apple’s Declarative Device Management (DDM) protocol to distribute and manage every app defined in policy for DDM-capable devices. When an install fails, the device automatically retries and stays aligned with the assigned policy — no manual resync required. Admins also get granular control over auto-update behavior and network restrictions.
In-platform customer quote building
Using Quoting for NinjaOne Billing, build and send trackable quotes to customers directly from the platform. Customers can approve or reject a quote without logging into a portal, so a deal never stalls on account setup. Once approved, the quote converts into a one-time invoice or a recurring agreement, carrying every price and line item over automatically.
Early Access (EA) features in this release
Multiple new EA features are worth exploring, each developed to save technicians time. Katana AI is an agentic assistant built into NinjaOne that turns operational data into guided steps, helping resolve issues faster. It ships with role-based access controls and a kill switch, giving IT teams guardrails from day one.
Real-Time Vulnerability Assessment can also be turned on for each organization instead of rolled out across the account.* For MSPs, a gradual rollout reduces risk, aligns to individual contracts, and limits operational disruption when managing many organizations with varying needs. Dynamic Policies replaces monolithic per-organization policies with modular ones that target devices automatically and resolve conflicts through a priority matrix.
Support for ChromeOS enters EA in NinjaOne 15.0 as a major new device type with the ability to inventory, report on, and secure Chromebooks alongside existing endpoints from the same platform. You can also save remote sessions to the cloud for up to 90 days with NinjaOne Remote Cloud Recordings, creating an audit trail for compliance, training, and troubleshooting without relying on local storage. Using SIEM Event Exporter, IT teams can now export endpoint events to an external SIEM using HEC-compatible payloads, giving security teams faster threat detection and a clear audit trail of webhook successes and failures.
At the technician level, NinjaOne Chat allows techs to message the person logged into a managed device to confirm details and share timely updates directly in the workflow. Plus, NinjaOne Assist Technician Experience adds a dedicated technician interface to the mobile app, letting login credentials route each user to the right view. Try out these EA features and others through your Account Manager, and let us know what you think!
