Steps To Change The Kiosk App First, you need to be using a local administrator account and the app you want to use must be a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app — those are the apps available from the Microsoft Store. Kiosk mode isn’t supported on Windows 10 Home, so you’ll need Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions. Now, open Settings and go to Accounts. In the left sidebar, click Family & other users. Scroll to the Set up a kiosk section and click Assigned Access. You’ll see the current app listed and just tap Change kiosk app to switch it out. Pick your new app from the dropdown list. If you're choosing Microsoft Edge, you'll get two layout options: As a digital sign or interactive display (fullscreen, no controls), or As a public browser (simplified browser with limited controls).
