However, some they wish to hide or customize this menu for various reasons, such as accessibility needs or organizational preferences. Regardless, there are multiple ways to turn the Hidden Icon Menu on or off. How to Turn On or Off Hidden Icon Menu The first is through Settings. Press Windows key + I to open Settings and go to the Personalization > Taskbar. Click “Other system tray icons,” and from here, you can toggle the Hidden Icon Menu or individual applications on or off. To remove the Hidden Icon Menu while still making system tray icons visible, you can use either Registry Editor or PowerShell. For the former, open Registry Editor and navigate to Find the DWORD named SystemTrayChevronVisibility and set the value to 1 to enable or 0 to disable. For the latter, open PowerShell and input this command to enable Or this command to disable. In either method, don’t forget to reboot the system to save changes.
