In this case, disabling the feature may be the best solution. How to Enable or Disable Mouse Gestures in Microsoft Edge There are several ways to manage mouse gestures in Microsoft Edge. Let’s start with the easiest one—through Edge settings. Microsoft Edge Settings Press Win + S, type Microsoft Edge, and open it. Click the three-dot menu on the top-right corner and select Settings. Go to Appearance, then scroll down to Browser behavior and features. Then toggle Enable mouse gesture on or off. Local Group Policy Editor Administrators can enforce a system-wide configuration using the Local Group Policy Editor. Prerequisites: Windows 11 Pro, Education, or Enterprise Microsoft Edge ADMX templates, Administrative privileges. First, download and install the correct Edge ADMX templates for your browser version. Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Next, navigate to this location: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Edge Locate MouseGestureEnabled , then choose one of the following: Enabled to turn gestures on Disabled to turn them off Not Configured to let users decide in their own settings Click Apply and then OK.
