System Requirements for Offline Files To use Offline Files, you’ll need a system running Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions and access to a shared network folder. To connect to a shared folder, open File Explorer, type the network path in the navigation bar, and press Enter. If you have permission, the folder will open. How to Enable Offline Files In most cases, Offline Files is enabled by default. If it isn’t on your Windows device, here’s how to activate it. First, open the Sync Center in the Start menu. Click Manage Offline Files and then select Enable Offline Files. Restart your computer if prompted.
