How to Perform Bulk Device Enrollment in Intune via PowerShell Imagine setting up 100 new company laptops by hand, clicking through prompts, fixing mistakes, and losing hours of your day. Method 1: Bulk Enrollment via PowerShell Manual Scripting This hands-on method allows you to automate Intune enrollment for batches of existing Windows 11 devices, commonly used during imaging or bulk setup. To do this: Start enrollment. On the device, open PowerShell as Administrator and run: Check the enrollment status by running: Next, force Azure AD Join if needed, by running: To automate at scale, run these scripts remotely using: Task Scheduler for local or imaged devices, remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools for enterprise-wide deployment. Method 2: Manually Upload Device Hardware IDs for Autopilot via PowerShell Capture and register device hardware fingerprints in advance to enable true zero-touch bulk enrollment for new Windows 11 devices in Intune. Prepare the device. Open PowerShell as Administrator, then run: Run the following to export the device hardware hash to a CSV file: Upload the CSV files in the Intune portal under Devices → Enroll devices → Windows Autopilot → Import You can run this automatically using: imaging workflows (MDT or SCCM task sequences), RMM tools like NinjaOne, first-boot scripts such as SetupComplete.cmd. Method 3: Upload Hardware Hashes to Intune directly via PowerShell This method captures and uploads hardware hashes to Intune automatically, without managing CSV files per device. Open PowerShell as Administrator, then run: Capture and upload the hardware hash by running: Approve the NuGet install if prompted, then sign in with an Intune Administrator account when asked. The hardware hash uploads automatically to Intune. Verify the upload in Intune. In the Intune admin center, go to Devices → Windows → Enrollment, then select Windows Autopilot → Devices.
