Auro is the largest company in the VTC sector, with more than 3,000 vehicles. Created in 2017, it was born from the hand of Spanish founders of important technology companies to be, currently, the first VTC fleet in the country with its own service request app and technology.

The company’s main objective has always been to digitize traditional fleet management to take people transport to the next level. To do this, they use the latest technology in GPS location, real-time traffic monitoring, conversion of engines to LPG, vehicle maintenance, efficient driving indicators or improve communication with the driver, among others.

In addition, they are ECO, aware of the environmental and climate challenges to be faced in the short term by our society, Auro embarks on the 2026 Commitment, by which the entire fleet will be electric or zero emissions.

That is why it is not surprising that in order to grow as the only fleet in Spain with its own service request app, it is of utmost importance to have a platform that allows you to manage all your assets in a secure, unified and 100% remote way. For this and much more, Auro has trusted NinjaOne to accompany him on this journey of success.

Like any new business, you make sure to keep everything in order with free options, but as the business grows, so do the needs, especially in a company’s IT space. That’s when you should consider whether to pay for a platform that manages your assets, thus increasing productivity by focusing on more important OKRs or go the old way, and trust a single technician to do the repetitive tasks, generating extra expense within the company.

From the beginning, Auro was concerned with going one step further in the company’s IT department. They started using Comodo to manage their entire IT infrastructure, and then after starting to be a payment platform, they began to look at the market to look for alternatives, since they did not feel that it covered enough needs to pay for it.

During this period, they discovered NinjaOne. «I was very struck by the way they manage endpoints, updates and patches, being able to see how long you have been online or how long it was. In a nutshell: Unify all our assets 100% remotely,» explains Rubén Ubeda, Systems Manager at Auro.

A strong point was having integration with Splashtop to make the connections, something that with our old platform they did not see possible. Another point that helped them to opt for NinjaOne was the simplicity of the system, so they could configure it in their own way and integrate it in a super efficient way, since no extra information was required from the end user, making the process much more agile and bearable for both parties.

Not having to inspect workstations one by one, seeing if the upgrades were carried out without any problems and fully relying on the RMM platform was a very big change for Auro. «NinjaOne is much simpler to set up than Comodo, you download the installer, and then it takes care of configuring everything. You can do a direct installation with Active Directory in the simplest way possible, and you don’t have to be installing anything, it’s all super fast.»

Like everything, at the beginning they had a little doubts, mainly due to ignorance when they were facing something new, learning to use the tool and the period it would take him and his technicians to implement everything. But, after only a week they were already using it quite well and could cover almost all its functionalities and services.

Not only has the ease of use dispelled the doubts they had before using NinjaOne, but it has also increased the learning curve for all of its technicians.

Since they started with NinjaOne they have grown a lot as a company, they went from having 50 endpoints to 250 endpoints and counting. That’s one of the reasons they’re sticking with Ninjaone: It gave them the freedom to focus on growing their business and prioritizing bigger projects.

They were one of the first customers in Spain with NinjaOne, and over the years the ease and simplicity of the tool is what convinces them to stay with us. «And there are still some things to discover to get the most out of it.»
