This session introduces MSPWell, a nonprofit created to support the mental health and well-being of MSP, MSSP, cybersecurity, and IT channel professionals. We’ll share why MSPWell was founded, the pressures facing our industry, and the resources, conversations, and community support available to attendees and their teams. Most importantly, we’ll show how MSPWell is helping create an industry where people feel less alone, and asking for help is recognized as a strength.

2:15 PM – 3:15 PMThe Farther We Go, The Closer We Get: What Supporting the ISS Taught Me About Troubleshooting, Teamwork, and What's Truly Mission-Critical Break
Speakers: Bryan Murphy, International Space Station and Deep Space Exploration at Boeing
The ISS is watched around the clock: telemetry, alerts, a team diagnosing problems they’ll never touch. Sound familiar? Bryan Murphy has done exactly that for NASA for 22 years, and the lessons transfer: redundancy, proactive monitoring, treating failure as your best data source keep spacecraft and teams running.
His harder problems aren’t mechanical, though. In his volunteer hours, Bryan invented ISS Mimic, an open-source 3D-printed model that moves in real time with the real station 250 miles overhead. Leading a volunteer team of educators and makers, many building it alongside students with no prior path into STEM, taught him that helping people find their own way is the most rewarding mission there is.
Expect robots vs. humans, recycled coffee, a few detours through space-time, and a reminder of why your work matters.
